Your new role
You will operate between the finance team and the data team and provide a pivotal role in supporting pricing strategies and evaluating performance to drive profitability and efficiency across the firm. More specifically, your responsibilities will be to:
- Analyse financial data, fee structures and profitability to support commercial pricing decisions.
- Conduct historical performance analysis, evaluating the actual vs projected profitability, cost efficiency and operational efficiency.
- Provide detailed financial reports and contribute insights to senior leadership for future decision-making.
- Identifying profitability trends and recommendations for pricing structure improvements.
- Utilise financial modelling tools to assess profitability and risk associated with pricing strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant or have a strong accountancy background, and have strong familiarity with financial systems and data analytics tools. You will ideally have an understanding of the legal or professional services industry and understand profitability drivers and financial evaluation metrics. Strong numerical skills and data interrogation ability are a must, as well as excellent communication skills.
