Your new role

This is a newly created Finance Administrator job working within a wider team of 6 people. The job is varied and fast-paced; duties include but not limited to:

  • Assist Purchase Ledger – downloading supplier invoices and requesting approvals
  • Collaborating with invoice approvers with any queries and unapproved invoices
  • Liaising with procurement and other areas of the business to deal with queries and discrepancies
  • Verifying and setting up new suppliers and subcontractors
  • Provide departments with information on costs when necessary
  • Analysis of certain expenditures, for example fleet/vehicles
  • Credit card checking, processing and analysis.
  • Supporting with employee’s expenses ensuring adhering to company policy
  • Assisting with Office of National Statistics surveys
  • Running weekly reports and customer statements
  • Ad hoc projects for the Finance Director
  • Answering internal and external queries

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this job you will require:

  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel
  • Be numerate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communicator both verbally and via email.
  • Hard-working with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
