Finance Administrator - Belfast - Public Sector - Contract

Hays are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected public sector organisation for a Temporary Finance Administrator to join their finance team in Belfast and is seeking additional support during a busy period.
Your new role
- Processing supplier invoices and supporting payment runs.
- Maintaining financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with claims processing, financial reconciliations and administrative finance activities.
- Supporting reporting, forecasting and audit preparation.
- Preparing spreadsheets, reports and other financial information using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Liaising with internal colleagues and external stakeholders as required.
- Supporting finance systems administration and continuous process improvements
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a financial environment.
- Experience processing invoices, maintaining financial records and working with financial spreadsheets.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Experience using electronic finance systems.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
