Your new role

Working in the existing team, you will undertake a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

  • Oversee the entire monthly payroll cycle, including liaising with the payroll provider to finalise payslips and ensure timely monthly payments.

  • Process starter forms, add new employees to the time and attendance software and pension website.

  • Handle the processing of leavers and request P45s.

  • Compile information on hours worked and pay rates across all sites for each employee to include in monthly payslips.

  • Report hours incurred and payroll costs on a departmental basis each month.

  • Record sick pay, maternity pay, and paternity pay.

  • Complete all necessary paperwork for external enquiries.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you should have at least one year of experience processing payroll for hourly-paid staff. Additionally, you should have a minimum of one year of experience working in a fast-paced finance office. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with payroll software and a solid understanding of payroll regulations and compliance are also essential.
