Your New Company

Our client specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of wastewater treatment solutions for a wide range of sectors throughout the UK and Ireland, including domestic, commercial, industrial, tourism and hospitality.

Your New Role

Working as a field service technician/engineer you will play a key role within the team in diagnosing and addressing issues with wastewater treatment plants. Reporting to the service supervisor in order to keep customers informed of work completed and recommendations for any future action to be taken. This role involves travel throughout Northern and Southern Ireland and includes a call-out roster. This role includes use of a company van.

Whilst working your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Undertake mechanical and electrical service activities on water treatment plants • Diagnosis of system faults and repair/replacement of components as required • Completion of field service reports and provision of data to support back-office processes • Liaison with customers as may be required to report on the operating condition of their plant.

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Have demonstrable experience in a technical field service role involving the maintenance of powered mechanical equipment • Have experience in the servicing and repair of pumping equipment to component level • Have strong self-discipline to meet schedules and ensure customer plant is maintained in a functional state • Be comfortable using mobile IT tools for reporting and office communication • Possess a clean full driving licence.
