About the Role:
As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored care and support to students with SEND and SEMH.
- Creating a safe and positive learning environment to maximise development
- Working alongside teachers, parents, and therapists to support students' growth and development
- Implementing positive behaviour plans and exercising de-escalation techniques and strategies
Key Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting pupils with SEN
- A good understanding of effective behaviour management
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
