About the Role:
As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing tailored care and support to students with SEND and SEMH.
  • Creating a safe and positive learning environment to maximise development
  • Working alongside teachers, parents, and therapists to support students' growth and development
  • Implementing positive behaviour plans and exercising de-escalation techniques and strategies
Key Requirements:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting pupils with SEN
  • A good understanding of effective behaviour management
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
