Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant Job in Waltham Forest, East London. Competitive Salary!

Location: Waltham Forest
Contract: Part-time (3 days a week)
Salary: £15.49 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate and experienced early years' practitioner with a Level 3 qualification and a strong background in supporting children with special educational needs?

This welcoming and well-resourced private nursery in Waltham Forest is looking to recruit a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the early stages of a child’s development.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

•Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with additional needs
•Assist with personalised learning plans and contribute to regular reviews and observations
•Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
•Work closely with the SENCo, therapists, and families to support holistic development
•Help adapt learning activities and routines to meet individual needs

What We’re Looking For:

•Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Supporting Teaching and Learning
•Strong experience supporting children with SEN in an early years setting
•A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning and behaviour support
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•A genuine passion for inclusive education and early years development
