Hays education are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant job at a primary school in the Leigh area with a September start. This school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic childcare professional to work in their well-established nursery, which is at the heart of a thriving community. This is a very nurturing school community and is an Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ school.

Your new role

This job will see you working with EYFS pupils aged between 2 and 4, so you will be working within the nursery class. This role is crucial in helping EYFS pupils develop their learning, and you will be required to supervise and provide particular support for children, including those with additional needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities. You may be required to work with separate groups or work on a 1:1 basis with children that may be struggling. EYFS experience is a requirement for this job role.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. You should be available from September and commit fully to the role.
