Your new company

Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackpool to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher for a long-term teaching opportunity. This is an exciting role for an inspirational Early Years practitioner who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and helping children develop a positive start to their education.

The successful candidate will join a nurturing school environment where staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality teaching and learning opportunities. The role will involve delivering an engaging EYFS curriculum, assessing pupil progress, and creating a stimulating classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, and academic development.

Your new role

  • Full-time Reception Teacher position
  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging EYFS lessons
  • Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress in line with EYFS requirements
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to create exciting and child-centred learning opportunities
  • Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
