Early Years Pre-School Manager, EYFS Teacher, September (or sooner) Start, Paid to Scale, Sandwell

Hays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sandwell to recruit an experienced Early Years Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive leadership team in a well-resourced setting committed to delivering high-quality early years provision.

Your new role

As the Pre‑School Manager, you will take a leading role in the delivery and development of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the pre‑school, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where all children can thrive.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the pre‑school provision and managing staff to ensure EYFS statutory requirements are met
  • Planning and delivering high-quality learning opportunities across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
  • Monitoring children’s development through effective assessment and planning next steps
  • Supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND and speech and language development
  • Creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
  • Leading safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare practices within the setting

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience working within and leading an EYFS setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and child development
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs, including EHCPs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A passion for delivering high standards of care and education
