Hays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sandwell to recruit an experienced Early Years Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive leadership team in a well-resourced setting committed to delivering high-quality early years provision.
Your new role
As the Pre‑School Manager, you will take a leading role in the delivery and development of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the pre‑school, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the pre‑school provision and managing staff to ensure EYFS statutory requirements are met
- Planning and delivering high-quality learning opportunities across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
- Monitoring children’s development through effective assessment and planning next steps
- Supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND and speech and language development
- Creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
- Leading safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare practices within the setting
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience working within and leading an EYFS setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and child development
- Experience supporting children with additional needs, including EHCPs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A passion for delivering high standards of care and education
