Hays are on the search for a passionate and eager, qualified and experienced teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking “Good” Ofsted rated 4-form Primary School with a 52 place nursery (26am & 26pm) dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment and experience for all their pupils. Our school is committed to continuous improvement and values the contributions of all staff members. Based in the North of Birmingham.
Your New Role -
As the EYFS Year Group Leader, you will play a crucial role in securing effective education for all pupils and continuously improving teaching and learning within the school. You will monitor the work of colleagues across the year group, focusing on planning, assessment, pupil progress, and differentiation. Additionally, you will liaise with Phase Leaders to ensure continuity and progression throughout the curriculum.
This responsibility is in addition to the standard scale job description for all teachers at our school and any other accepted areas of responsibility. This is a temp to perm, full-time position starting in September 2025.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience of teaching and leading within a primary school setting, especially EYFS.
Demonstrated an ability to improve pupil outcomes and foster a positive learning environment.
Strong understanding of curriculum planning, assessment, and differentiation.
Experience of leading and managing a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.
