About the Role
Are you a passionate and creative teacher ready to shape the very start of children’s learning journeys? We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS/KS1 Lead to join a vibrant, forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or middle leader to take the next step in their career and make a lasting impact in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
As EYFS/KS1 Lead, you will:
  • Champion high-quality early education and foster a love of learning.
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver an engaging, child-centred curriculum.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to ensure every child flourishes.
Start Date: January 2026 (later start date considered for the right candidate). Leadership Time: In addition to standard PPA, you will receive an extra half day per week for leadership responsibilities (one full day release from the classroom per week in total).

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive excellence in EYFS and KS1 teaching and learning.
  • Support curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Mentor and develop staff within your phase.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement school-wide priorities.
  • Ensure safeguarding and inclusion are at the heart of all practice.
