Executive Assistant to CEO and Board + Office Manager

Location: Winchester (work-from-home 2 days per week)
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, 35 hours per week - Initially Temp

Your New Role

As the Executive Assistant & Office Manager, you’ll be the trusted right-hand to the Chief Executive, providing high-level administrative and secretarial support. You’ll also take ownership of the day-to-day running of the Central Office, ensuring everything from diary management to office supplies runs like clockwork.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing confidential and efficient support to the Chief Executive.
  • Managing diaries, coordinating meetings, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organising and minuting Board and Committee meetings.
  • Supporting key events such as awards ceremonies and away days.
  • Offering ad hoc support to the Chairman and Senior Management Team.
  • Overseeing office operations including ordering supplies (milk, stationery, etc.), managing rooms, and liaising with service providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety and fire safety protocols.
  • Managing the Reception team and stepping in to cover reception duties when needed.
  • Handling inbox management and maintaining internal documentation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, discreet, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities and have a natural ability to lead and support others.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Minute-taking experience and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Desirable:

  • Experience in office and people management.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an office setting.
