Executive Assistant at Insurance Firm (One-Year Maternity Cover)

A specialist Insurance and Re-Insurance company based in the City of London.

Your new role
  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Group CEO and Group CUO, including diary management, travel coordination, and ad-hoc project assistance.
  • Travel Management: Act as the main liaison for booking international and domestic travel, ensuring compliance with company policies and budget oversight.
  • HR & Onboarding: Manage new joiner processes, coordinate with HR for contracts and documentation, and maintain internal HR dashboards.
  • Event Planning: Organise and execute corporate events and socials throughout the year, including offsites, board dinners, and seasonal parties.
  • Presentation Creation: Develop professional presentations for senior leadership using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Support recruitment activities, coordinate internal meetings, assist with salary reviews, manage corporate calendars, and liaise with external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in providing support at a C-Suite level.
  • An understanding of Lloyd’s/London Market insurance operations is desired.
  • MS Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint skills are required to be at an intermediate/advanced level.
  • Experience organising comprehensive travel, large-scale events & on-the-go troubleshooting is ideal.
