We are seeking a highly professional, discreet, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chairman of a busy and growing organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication, operational efficiency, and strategic support at the highest level of leadership. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your new role
- Provide high-level executive support, including managing the Chairman’s schedule, travel arrangements, and meetings.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Chairman and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Draft correspondence, presentations, and briefing materials for key meetings and engagements.
- Oversee governance-related matters, including board meetings, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Anticipate the Chairman’s needs and provide proactive solutions to optimise time and efficiency.
- Coordinate strategic initiatives and special projects with cross-functional teams.
- Represent the Chairman professionally in interactions with business partners, government officials, and key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as an EA supporting C-suite executives in a dynamic organisation.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to understand and anticipate leadership priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential matters.
- The ability to travel as travel will be part of this role, including flights.
