Hays Accountancy and Finance are working to support a Belfast based company to support their dynamic team as they continue to grow and dominate in their given sector.
Your new role
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
- Budgeting and Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Generate financial reports and statements.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain documentation for audit purposes.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
- Handle correspondence and communication related to financial matters.
- Customer and Vendor Relations:
- Communicate with customers and vendors regarding financial transactions.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- System Management:
- Use accounting software and tools to manage financial data.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an Accounts admin you will require the following:
- Mathematical Proficiency: Strong mathematical skills to handle financial calculations and manage budgets
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and maintain organized records
- Communication Skills: Effective communication for handling correspondence and working with other departments
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address financial discrepancies and irregularities
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems
- Financial Record Management: Experience in maintaining and updating financial records
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handling invoices, payments, and tracking receivables
- Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements and reports
