A respected UK government organisation is seeking a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support its Chief Executive. This is a key role within a high-performing executive office, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the delivery of strategic priorities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise the Chief Executive’s diary, inbox, and correspondence, ensuring efficient time management and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate briefings and logistics for internal and external meetings, events, and speaking engagements.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery of key actions.
- Organise travel and accommodation for UK and international engagements.
- Support wider executive office functions including scheduling senior leadership meetings and staff communications.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
- Collaborate with other Executive Assistants and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional diary and inbox management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make informed decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and inclusive working practices.
Desirable
- Experience in a regulatory, government, or political environment.
