About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and driven M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team in either Cambridge or Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS or for professionals currently working as Contract Managers, Project Managers, or Site Supervisors who are ready to transition into a commercial role.

You’ll play a key part in managing the financial and contractual aspects of M&E projects, ensuring value, compliance, and successful delivery across a diverse portfolio.

️ Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts

Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts

Support procurement and tendering processes for subcontractors and suppliers

Monitor project progress and provide commercial reports to stakeholders

Liaise with site teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure commercial alignment

Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle

Assist in contract negotiation and administration (NEC, JCT, etc.)

Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and systems

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from:

Experienced M&E Quantity Surveyors

Contract/Project Managers or Site Supervisors with strong commercial awareness and a desire to move into a QS role

✅ Essential Skills & Experience
Background in M&E construction or building services

Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract management

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Proficiency in MS Excel and commercial software (e.g., Causeway, COINS, etc.)

Qualifications
Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not essential)

Relevant industry certifications or training will be considered.
