Estimator required to work for a Civil highways contractor in and around London.

Your new company

My client is a family run business with over 25 years’ experience as an established utility and Reinstatement company, specialising in Telecoms Civils, and tailored reinstatement services.
Their Mission is “to be the preferred choice in our field by adding value to our business partners without compromise to quality, safety or the environment.” Due to the growth of the business we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join their expanding Infrastructure team.

Your new role

Candidates must possess solid estimating experience within the civils sector and be willing, with their support, to manage the measurement of multiple contracts, take off and build-up of rates, manage he procurement of subcontractors and the securing of new work.
You will be working closely with other senior managers and Directors within the group who will provide you with full support to achieve continued growth.

What you'll need to succeed

You will already be an Estimator with solid experience within the civil engineering/groundworks sector, within a UK Contractor. Experience and contacts with tier 1 contractors and local authorities is a major advantage. You will also need tog have good knowledge of construction working methods, contracts and subcontract arrangement.

You will also need to be numerate, a clear communicator and a team player. Being willing to commute to meet clients, suppliers and subcontractors is also important.

You will also need a full UK driving license.
