About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team in either Cambridge or Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS or for professionals currently working as Contract Managers, Project Managers, or Site Supervisors who are ready to transition into a commercial role.
You’ll play a key part in managing the financial and contractual aspects of M&E projects, ensuring value, compliance, and successful delivery across a diverse portfolio.

️ Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
  • Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Support procurement and tendering processes for subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitor project progress and provide commercial reports to stakeholders
  • Liaise with site teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure commercial alignment
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in contract negotiation and administration (NEC, JCT, etc.)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and systems

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from:
  • Experienced M&E Quantity Surveyors
  • Contract/Project Managers or Site Supervisors with strong commercial awareness and a desire to move into a QS role

✅ Essential Skills & Experience
  • Background in M&E construction or building services
  • Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and commercial software (e.g., Causeway, COINS, etc.)

Qualifications
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Relevant industry certifications or training will be considered.
