Our client is leading shopfitting and interior fit-out company based in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Commercial Department, and be part of a team that values quality and client satisfaction.
Your new role
As an Estimator, you will:
- Perform cost analysis and estimation for projects.
- Ensure competitive pricing while covering all costs.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and our contracts team.
Key Responsibilities
- Report key aspects of estimating functions to Directors.
- Develop and maintain client accounts.
- Analyse job appraisals and report variances.
- Manage project costs from start to finish.
- Review contracts and assess risks.
Activities
- Analyse tenders and job specs.
- Calculate final project costs and present tender prices.
- Negotiate with sub-contractors for best value.
- Refine specifications for better production and cost efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
