Your new company
My client provides a comprehensive range of geotechnical, mining, geological, and environmental services. They focus on high-quality, cost-effective solutions for site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation designs. Their services include subsurface investigations, trial pits, rotary drilling, and ground investigations. My client also offers specialised testing for renewable energy projects, such as wind and solar farms, and manages environmental concerns like radon in housing. My client is committed to delivering timely and clearly presented solutions to support safe and efficient development projects.
Your new role
They are currently working on a wide variety of projects, including residential developments, renewable energy projects, commercial developments (supermarkets) and several projects for the local government.
You will be involved in Project Management, Phase 1&2 report writing, Coal Mining Risk Assessments, Remediation Strategies, Validation Reports and Geotechnical Assessments.
All of their work combines a combination of geotechnical assessment (bearing capacity/settlement calculations), ground gas assessments, mining studies and the significance of measured soil and groundwater concentrations.
Their Bath office is a modern building by the river hosting around seven staff of varying ages and backgrounds, offering a welcoming and inclusive office environment. Most of the work conducted here is geotechnical, but they will welcome a consultant with a contaminated land bias.
