Your new company
Hays Technology are recruiting a Solutions Architect to join a growing public sector organisation based in Sunderland. You will be joining the IT Architecture team reporting into the EA.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be proactively leading and supporting EA activities to guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions, including projects and products, systems, shared infrastructure services, and shared application services. You will be providing leadership, analysis and design tasks to support the development of technology solutions.

You will be working with the product owners and systems owners to ensure a robust architectural runway to support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle. You will need to understand business drivers and business capabilities and determining corresponding enterprise solution designs and change requirements to drive the organisation’s targeted business outcomes.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Experience working as a Solutions Architect
  • Extensive experience in IT solutions development disciplines
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
  • Experience in creating and driving technical solutions to delivery
  • Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
  • You will need to pass a DBS

What you’ll get in return
