The Opportunity
Hays Education is proud to be supporting a fantastic secondary school in Huddersfield in their search for a talented English Teacher to join them from September to December. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in a thriving, well‑resourced school with a supportive leadership team.
The Role
- Teach KS3 and KS4 English to a high standard
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire progress
- Contribute to the wider English department and whole‑school ethos
- Take responsibility for planning, marking, and assessment
- Uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement
What We’re Looking For
- A UK‑qualified English Teacher (QTS or SMCTLS essential)
- At least 3 years’ experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
- A positive, professional attitude and commitment to student success
- Someone reliable, adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running
