English Teacher required for the remainder of the academic year

We are currently supporting a school in Knowsley who are looking for an English teacher to start in the new year and cover the remainder of the academic year. The successful English teacher will be required to teach KS3 & KS4 English.

Your new role
English Teacher delivering KS3 & KS4 English. Delivering good and engaging lessons and ensuring pupils are on task and achieving outcomes in every lesson.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Follow the schools rewards and behaviour policy.
  • Be flexible and willing to support across the school in different departments

Qualifications
  • A degree in English or a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching at secondary school level.

Skills
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for working with young people
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • The ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
