English Teacher (KS3 & KS4) — Huddersfield — September Start
Are you a UK‑qualified English Teacher with a passion for sparking creativity, confidence, and curiosity in young people? This Huddersfield secondary school is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and imaginative English specialist to join their team from September.
The Role
As a KS3 & KS4 English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire a love of literature and language ✨
- Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE preparation
- Use creative strategies to support progress for learners of all abilities
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative English department
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and classroom culture
What You Bring
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
- Three years’ experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4

Pay & Contract
- Paid to scale in line with Hays Education
- Full‑time role starting September
- Long‑term placement with potential for extension
