We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham. This temporary role involves teaching students up to Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting progress across the curriculum.
✨ Key Responsibilities
- Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons.
- Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to schemes of work and departmental planning.
- Support literacy initiatives and enrichment activities.
- Participate in meetings, training, and wider school life.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language.
- Experience teaching up to KS4.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a temporary role.
