Your new role

We’re seeking a passionate and flexible English Teacher to join our supply team for a long-term assignment across several well-regarded secondary schools in the South Wiltshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a variety of settings, inspire students through literature and language, and contribute to high-quality English education. Assignments will vary in length, ranging from short-term cover (minimum of 2 weeks) to full-term placements, maternity cover, and even full academic year roles, depending on school needs. You’ll be delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5 depending on the school. A strong command of the curriculum and a creative approach to teaching are highly valued.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons
• Supporting students in developing literacy, analytical, and writing skills
• Preparing pupils for GCSE and A-Level assessments
• Contributing to enrichment activities such as reading clubs, theatre trips, and writing competitions

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong subject knowledge and a love for literature and language
• Excellent behaviour management and adaptability across different school environments
• Availability from September 2025 on a part-time or full-time basis and available for long-term cover-up (minimum of 6-weeks)

What you'll get in return

• Competitive daily pay: M1-U1 paid to scale based on experience and role responsibilities
• Variety and flexibility across multiple schools
• Opportunities for CPD and professional growth
