Hays are working with a well-known not-for profit company on the outskirts of Cardiff to support with the recruitment for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with specific skills in the Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Azure. The role is paying circa £55,000pa depending on experience and is mostly remote based, you’d likely go on site a couple of times a month. In the role you will support a mix of BAU and project-based infrastructure work in the team of 5. You’ll provide high level technical expertise across Azure Active Directory, Entra ID, Identity Access Management and PowerShell scripting. You’ll support more junior members of the team, work closely with stakeholders in the wider IT directorate and support 3rd party vendors. To be considered for this role you will need to be an experienced 3rd line infrastructure engineer who in recent years has specialised in the Microsoft Stack, with specific expertise around Microsoft Azure including the technologies mentioned above. You will need to have good stakeholder management skills and have varied experience supporting project based IT modernisation.

The current salary on offer is between £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience. You’ll have the opportunity to work mostly from home, typically going into the office two times per month.
