Your new role
In this key position within the Employment Law team, you will provide high quality legal support to members, workplace representatives, and internal officials.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering professional advice and representation in employment and industrial law matters.
- Preparing and managing employment law casework.
- Representing members at Employment Tribunal hearings, including undertaking advocacy.
- Overseeing and supporting the work of Employment Law Legal Advisors.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Employment Solicitor status (desirable but not essential), or equivalent practical experience in employment law and Employment Tribunal work.
- Experience advising and representing individuals in Employment Tribunal cases, including advocacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
- Well-developed legal research skills.
- Confident IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
