Employment Lawyer (3-Month rolling contract)

Your new role
As an Employment Lawyer, you’ll provide expert legal advice and representation on a wide range of employment matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling Employment Tribunal cases and advising on TUPE
- Supporting HR teams and senior officers with complex employment law issues
- Drafting and negotiating legal documents and settlements
- Managing a varied caseload with autonomy and professionalism
- Contributing to the development of legal services across the partnership
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- To be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- At least 5 years PQE in employment law
- Public sector or local government experience
- A history of longer-term placements (6+ months), with at least 10 months in a local authority or public sector setting
- Strong knowledge of Employment Tribunals and TUPE
- The ability to attend the office once a week or fortnight, as agreed
