Electrical Maintenance Technician

• Public sector commercial estate

• Permanent

• 40 hours per week

• £35,500 basic salary but opportunity for overtime and other bonuses up to £41,500

18th Edition required and ideally have experience in a commercial maintenance environment.

Work will involve:

• PPM's and compliance checks

• Day to day repairs

• Fault finding & repair

• Capital works projects & electrical upgrades

Will be mainly on the general building but could also be involved in the plant areas.

• Electrical distribution systems

• Generator and battery systems

• Fire alarm systems

• Emergency lighting systems

• BMS systems

• Ventilation systems

• Heating and plumbing systems

• Electricity at work regulations 1989

• Confined spaces regulations 1997

• HTM 06:02 (Electrical low voltage systems)

• BS 7671 wiring regulations

• Electrical installation testing and inspection

• Approved codes of practice and applicable standards.
