Electrician, Permanent, Full-time position, Bristol-based

Your new company

An exciting opportunity has become available within a successful and fast-growing electrical services company based in Bristol.

Your new role

As a qualified electrician, you will be working on a variety of contracts across Bristol and South Wales.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Perform inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and promptly repair or replace faulty components.
  • Install and commission new electrical equipment and wiring according to specifications.
  • Comply with safety standards and electrical codes at all times.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have the below essentials:
- City and Guilds 2360 part 2/City and Guilds 2330 level 3 (or equivalent) in Electricals
- NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electro technical Systems
- City & Guilds 2382 Requirements for Electrical installations BS7671 18th Edition
- Be able to successfully gain military/ Government Security Clearance
- Microsoft Office literate: as required to complete reports etc...
- Hold a full clean UK driving licence (no points)
- Confident working alone and within a team.
- Be able to work an on-call rota

Below is a list of desirable experience and qualifications:

- Fire Alarm Experience
- IPAF and/or PASMA
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing and certification of electrical Installations
