Position: Tenancy Support and Community Engagement Officer
Location: Leeds Area Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tenancy Support and Community Engagement Officer to join a leading social housing provider based in the Leeds area. This role is essential in fostering positive relationships between tenants and the organisation, ensuring the smooth operation of tenancies and supporting residents in accessing key housing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, helping to resolve any housing-related issues.
  • Provide advice and guidance on tenancy rights, responsibilities, and housing processes.
  • Work with vulnerable tenants to ensure they are aware of available support services and can access them as needed.
  • Facilitate effective communication between tenants and the organisation, acting as a key point of contact.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant needs, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Help to resolve disputes and mediate between tenants when necessary.
  • Promote community engagement activities that improve tenant satisfaction and foster a sense of community.
