Electrical Pre-Construction Manager – Projects Division

Your new role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the technical and design coordination aspects of projects during the pre-construction phase. While prior pre-construction experience is not essential, this position is ideal for someone with a background in electrical contracts management who is looking to expand into a more strategic and design-focused role.

This is a primarily office-based position with minimal travel, offering a stable routine and improved work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure financial accuracy in final bid submissions
  • Work with design partners to develop compliant and competitive designs
  • Coordinate electrical design elements to ensure integration and efficiency
  • Attend meetings with main contractors and clients, leading communication with design teams and specialist supply chain partners
  • Review all drawings, schedules, and technical submittals prior to client submission for comments or approvals
  • Support contracts managers and procurement teams to ensure all purchases meet specification and drawing requirements
  • Liaise with specialist subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bid submissions are fully compliant

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical contracts management or a similar technical role
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations and current regulations
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues
  • Leadership and motivational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
