Capital Projects Manager required by a large public body based in Co. Antrim

Your new company

The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large public body based in Co. Antrim, to recruit a Capital Projects Manager on an ongoing temporary contract basis.


Your new role

You will ensure the delivery of allocated capital projects from inception to completion, which will include:

Assisting with the development of tender documents and contract administration procedures.
Assisting the Head of Service in identifying efficiencies in the Service Area.
Producing any information required by internal stakeholders for auditing purposes and to ensure performance management.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you should have the following:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a built environment discipline, or;
• Registration or full current Membership by examination of a relevant professional body.

You should also possess at least 2 years' experience working in a built environment in client project management to include:

1. Delivery of capital projects from inception to successful completion.
2. Preparation of tender documents.
3. Compliance with project budgets.
4. Coordinating internal and external project teams.
5. Building partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
