Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A leading company in the FMCG sector, based in Liverpool, is seeking a skilled Electrically biassed Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team. The company is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and innovation in their operations.

Your new role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and correcting automation, electrical, and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations. You will ensure the consistent delivery of the engineering strategy, deliver turn-key improvement projects efficiently, and drive the performance of the Engineering function. A strong focus on safe working practices and site performance KPIs, including OEE and CCOs, is essential.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fully qualified (time-served) Electrical Maintenance Engineer with industry experience.
  • Mechanical competency alongside electrical bias.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment, ideally in the food sector.
  • PLC and servo drive diagnostic experience (Mitsubishi).
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge.
  • Confidence under pressure with strong problem-solving and fault-diagnosing skills.
  • Ability to work to high standards and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset with a drive for training and up-skilling.
