Electrical Maintenance Tradesperson
Location: Central London Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Tradesperson to join our Estates team. In this role, you will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair across our campus facilities. You’ll ensure that our buildings remain safe, efficient, and fully operational, supporting a first-class environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance activities, including planned preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair a range of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues when required.
  • Ensure workshops and stores are kept clean, organised, and well-stocked.
About You
  • Electrical qualification: Minimum Level 3 NVQ and 18th Edition.
  • Experience working within a maintenance team.
  • Knowledge of lighting systems, emergency lighting, and power distribution (230V and 400V).
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and CAFM systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
