A large FMCG manufacturer in Bristol is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, offering up to £50,000.

A well established FMCG manufacturer, based in the Bristol area, is seeking a new Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to support an expansion effort following a period of growth in the business. Having already impacted their sector, this company is looking to increase their presence and continue their growth into a dominating presence. Your new role
As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be directly responsible for the maintenance, repair and calibration of equipment relating to their specific manufacturing process. This role will place an emphasis on adhering to a planned preventative maintenance schedule alongside reactionary maintenance as and when needed. This role operates on a four on, four off shift pattern, two days followed by two nights.

  • Maintain and repair all equipment required for production.

  • Perform PPM and reactionary maintenance of the equipment.

  • Communicate with all levels of staff to ensure maximum efficiency across the board.

  • Full commitment to a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Operating within the Health and Safety guidelines as set out by this company.

  • Test and inspect electrical equipment extensively.

    What you'll need to succeed
    To be successful in your application for the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you must:

  • Be a time served apprentice in an Electrical Engineering discipline or an established qualification in Electrical Engineering.

  • Be familiar with fault-finding principles.

  • The ability to perform under your own initiative and deal with changing priorities.

  • A keen interest in learning and developing your skills further.

  • Familiarity with three-phase and single phase electronics.
