The Role: M&E Engineer

Base Location: Fulwood Barracks, Preston

Coverage: 6 main sites across the North West + satellite locations

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance

As an M&E Engineer, you’ll be the technical backbone of our operations—ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of services across multiple sites. From producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to supporting carbon reduction initiatives, your work will make a real difference.

• Delivering technical support across sites to ensure compliance with JSP375
• Assessing and coaching Skilled Persons to maintain high safety standards
• Supporting project delivery and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Advising on MOD Safe Systems of Work and liaising with key stakeholders
• Playing a key role in reducing corrective actions and supporting sustainability goals

• Fully qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Ideally hold AP tickets (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Strong experience with Safe Systems of Work (JSP375)
• Confident working independently across multiple sites
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Leadership experience in site operations and resource management
