Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineers (Junior / Intermediate) – Larne

We’re working with a specialist building services design consultancy delivering high-end M&E solutions for hotels, bars, restaurants, and premium commercial spaces, as well as industrial projects. They’re expanding and looking for Junior and Intermediate Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineers who want to work on prestigious projects while enjoying flexibility and work-life balance.
Your new role
- Assist in designing mechanical and electrical building services systems for hospitality, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD/Revit.
- Carry out load calculations, energy assessments, and system sizing under guidance.
- Work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality, design-focused solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant Building Services discipline.
- Strong understanding of building services principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a bonus).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a building services consultancy or contractor environment.
- Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines and UK Building Regulations.
- Interest in sustainable design and energy efficiency.
