Electrical Engineer – OX14 – Temporary (3 Months+)
Hays are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a fast-paced site in OX14 on a temporary contract with strong potential for extension.
Location: OX14
Shifts: 5am–1pm, 9am–5pm, 15:30–23:30 (rotating)
Pay: £25.00 – £27.50 per hour (Umbrella) / £19.19 – £23.00 PAYE
Contract: 3 months initially, likely to extend

The Role: You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment across site, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations.
Key Duties:
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault-finding on electrical systems, controls, and plant
- Supporting LV switching and isolations
- Assisting with installations and upgrades
- Ensuring compliance with H&S and safe systems of work
- Completing maintenance records and documentation
- Working closely with site teams and subcontractors
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial, industrial or FM environments
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Understanding of compliance and safe working practices
- Flexible to work rotating shifts
