Electrical Design Engineer

Your new role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems for a range of bespoke engineering projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing electrical schematics and wiring harnesses using CAD software
- Developing automation systems, PLC programmes, and control logic
- Supporting fault-finding and diagnostics in electrical systems
- Selecting and integrating sensors, actuators, and industrial automation components
- Contributing to problem-solving, system optimisation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in electrical design within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations
