Setting out/Site Engineer for a site in Wales
Setting Out Engineer
Are you driven by precision and accuracy in construction? Do you excel at transforming architectural designs into reality? Our client is looking for a talented Setting Out Engineer to join their team and play a vital role in bringing the projects to fruition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Preparation: Prepare the site by setting out boundaries and levelling the ground.
- Surveying: Utilise site plans, drawings, and building information models to delineate structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure the accuracy of plans and drawings.
- Health and Safety: Oversee health and safety protocols on the site.
- Progress Reporting: Keep management and stakeholders updated on site development progress.
Qualifications:
- Education: Obtain the necessary qualifications through a university course or an apprenticeship in relevant fields such as civil or structural engineering, building surveying, building engineering, or construction studies.
- Experience: Proven experience as a setting out engineer or site engineer in the construction industry.
- Certification: A Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card may be required along with SMSTS and First aid.
Compensation:
- Day Rate: £250 - £400 Per Day
