Your new role

As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be supporting a full-capacity reception class. As well as supporting with behaviour management, you will plan and deliver phonics interventions using the RWI scheme on a 1:1 and small group basis and aid in the social development of your new pupils by completing learn through play sessions and integrating them into new pupil groups.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK, a minimum of 40 days referenceable experience in a reception or KS1 class in the last 2 years, and:

  • Experience delivering phonics interventions using RWI scheme
  • Ability to effectively manage behaviours
  • An NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not essential

What you'll get in return

If you are successful in your application, you will receive the full support, dedication and guidance of an experienced senior DfE accredited recruitment consultant, as well as a wide range of benefits, which include:

  • Free training
  • Upfront cost of DBS covered
  • Long-term contract
  • Company pension scheme
  • Competitive rate of pay
