EYFS teaching vacancy - September start

Your new company
Hays Education are proudly working in partnership with an OFSTED rated ‘good’ primary school in Ellesmere Port and supporting them in their search for an EYFS teacher. The school are looking for a teacher to join their team initially for one term starting September with scope to be extended for the full academic year. The position is with a single form entry school who’s main priority is to enable children to achieve their academic potential and progress confidently into the next phase of their education.

Your new role
In this role as an Early Years teacher, you will be trusted in the day to day running of classes. Ensuring that the children have a fun, positive and safe environment to learn and grow in. This may entail setting up engaging activities, delivering phonics sessions and monitoring the safety of the learning environment. To be successful at this school you must have drive and capacity to continually improve. Full teacher responsibilities will be expected so the school will be looking to pay to scale from day one.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • An in depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Experience working within an Early Years setting, this is useful but not essential.
  • Experience using phonics.
  • An up to date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
