Art & DT technician vacancy - Runcorn

Your new role
The main duties for the role include, but is not limited to
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, tools, and materials for practical lessons in Design Technology and Art.
  • Providing support and assistance to the classroom teacher during practical lessons
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times
  • Check and organise resources and materials for cover lessons and liaise with department staff and the finance team in purchasing equipment and resources.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies and materials as needed to support lesson plans.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in a related technical field, ideally within a school or educational environment.
  • Familiarity with Design Technology and Art equipment and tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to health and safety.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to handle technical issues efficiently.
