Your new role

Starting in September, you’ll take on a supply teaching role within the Design & Technology department, delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity and practical skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching a range of DT subjects, such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or food technology, depending on your specialism.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and adapting content to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Encouraging students to think critically, solve problems, and develop hands-on skills.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with staff to ensure continuity of learning and a smooth transition for students.

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain experience and confidence in a supportive setting.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
