Teacher of Food Technology – Blackpool Secondary School

Hays Education is pleased to be working in partnership with a well‑respected secondary school in Blackpool to appoint an inspiring Teacher of Food Technology for a permanent position starting September 2026.

This role would suit either an experienced practitioner seeking a stable, long-term opportunity or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin their teaching career within a supportive and forward‑thinking Technology department. The school has a strong commitment to professional development and offers excellent mentoring and progression opportunities.

Your new role
You will be responsible for teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, practical and theory‑based lessons that develop students’ confidence, independence and culinary skills.
