Food Technology/DT Teacher, Blackpool, January 2026

️ Food Technology Teacher – Part-Time (Jan–July 2026)
Location: Blackpool
Salary: MPS/UPS | Contract: Fixed Term

Are you passionate about teaching students the skills to thrive in the kitchen and beyond? Hays Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in Blackpool, part of the nationally respected STAR Academies Trust, to recruit a dedicated Food Technology teacher for a part-time role starting January 2026.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive Design & Technology department. You’ll be teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, delivering practical and engaging lessons that promote healthy living, creativity, and essential life skills. The role is part-time and will run until July 2026, covering a planned absence.

✅ What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
  • A practical and engaging approach to curriculum delivery
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to student progress and wellbeing
