DT Teacher, Lancaster, September 2026
The Role
As the school’s new DT Teacher, you’ll deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 within one or more DT specialisms (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Food Technology). The department is well‑resourced, forward‑thinking, and supported by strong leadership.
You’ll be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons that inspire creativity and problem‑solving
- Assess and track pupil progress in line with school policies
- Maintain a safe workshop environment, ensuring compliance with H&S standards
- Contribute to the wider school community and department development
