A leading infrastructure programme is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to support a major civil engineering initiative focused on surveying and improving existing infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a structured and safety-critical environment.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for surveying and recording existing drainage and associated infrastructure. Working as part of a wider engineering team, you will support ongoing works aimed at improving resilience and addressing potential points of failure.

This role will involve:

Conducting site inspections and surveys of drainage and earthworks assets

Recording and reporting infrastructure condition data accurately

Working in line with strict health and safety procedures

Supporting engineers with field-based data collection

Shift work including nights and weekends as required

A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

Ideally 1–2 years’ UK experience

Full Manual UK driving licence (must be able to drive a manual vehicle)

Strong attention to detail and willingness to work outdoors

Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends

A Personal Track Safety (PTS) card would be advantageous, but is not essential (training can be provided)

Weekend work paid at 1.5x

Night shifts paid at 2x
