Female Domestic Violence Support Worker
Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting for a well-established charity in the Nottingham area for a Female Domestic Violence Support Worker, based in the Nottingham area, on a temporary basis for 6 months.
Your new role
Your new role will be having your own caseload of customers who have suffered from or recently fled domestic violence and are in supported accommodation. You will work closely with these customers, providing them with advice and support to live independently, promoting their independence and helping them sustain their tenancies. You will also be signposting them to relevant services and liaising with other support services.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the role, you must have proven experience managing your own caseload. Whilst experience working in domestic violence settings is not essential, it is desirable for the post. Furthermore, due to the nature of the post, you will need a full driving licence with business insurance as well as an enhanced DBS check.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a rewarding contract with a fantastic company of at least 6 months, with a possible extension.
