Domestic Violence Housing Support and Outreach Worker

Your new company

Hays are currently recruiting for a reputable organisation, based in the Nottinghamshire area, for a Domestic Violence Housing Support and Outreach Worker. This role is on a permanent basis and would be city-based.

Your new role

Your new role will be managing your own caseload of customers who may have fled from domestic violence. You will lead on complex housing assessments, secure safe and sustainable accommodation, and deliver high-quality case management for clients with diverse and high-risk needs. This role involves multi-agency collaboration, safeguarding leadership, and advocacy to ensure clients’ safety and long-term independence.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for the role, you will need to have proven experience managing a caseload of customers who maybe vulnerable, including those experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues etc. Furthermore, you must have brilliant communication skills and be able to engage and build rapport easily. Due to the nature of the role, you must have an Enhanced DBS (Hays are able to undertake this for you).
