Your new school
Hays Education are working in partnership with a range of primary schools across Wolverhampton to recruit dedicated and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers for the new academic year. We are supporting schools across the WV1 and WV5–WV10 postcode areas, offering a variety of opportunities tailored to suit your availability and career goals.
Your new role
As a Supply Teacher, you will work across a diverse mix of Infant, Junior and Primary schools, with opportunities available in both mainstream and SEND settings.
We are recruiting for:
- Day-to-day (DD) supply cover
- Long-term (LT) roles, with or without planning responsibilities, depending on school needs
You will benefit from a mixture of same-day and pre-booked assignments, giving you both flexibility and consistency where required.
Supply cover is required for a variety of reasons, including:
- Same-day and short-term sickness
- Doctor’s appointments and medical leave
- Operation recovery periods
- Bereavement leave
- PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover
- SLT and ECT release time
- Course and training cover
Many of these opportunities can also lead to temporary-to-permanent positions, with schools often offering permanent contracts following successful day-to-day or long-term supply placements. What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within primary settings (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A flexible, reliable and proactive approach
